Nada

You've seen the outfit. Now get into the Nada experience.

I went with Brea and we were seated outside - away from the foot traffic but right next to the parked cars on the street. I mean, we gotta make do of what we can get given the circumstances we're under.

Before ordering, we quickly took advantage of their bright mural to take some photos.

Now onto the food.

Nada specializes in Mexican cuisine, all in tapas (small plates). My word, we had ourselves a feast. Started off with raw oysters, chips & salsa, O.G. guacamole, and shrimp cocktail (I don't know what was in those thangs because I ordered another round). Then we moved on to crispy brussels, shrimp ceviche, and street corn (our favorite!). Finally, we decided to take our desserts (churros and Horchata panna cotta) to-go since we had another stop to make.

Prices are reasonable and there's even a carryout menu.

While there's only one location in the DC - Pike & Rose (Bethesda, MD) - you're in luck if living in Indiana, Ohio, or Tennessee - there are locations there, too.

Tasty food awaits.
