SAG Awards '20

Scarlett Johansson in Armani Prive
Simply a fantastic look.
The dress (and its color) is stunning.

Let's get into the 2020 SAG Awards.

I was about to squeal with happiness when I saw Eugene and Dan Levy, the dynamic father and son duo who are the creators and stars in Schitts Creek, on stage doing a brief monologue because this means they'll be the hosts for the awards show, right? Alas, no bueno. There was no host this year which made the show a quick-n-easy one hitting the 2 hour mark right on the dot. Ain't mad at that. Also, seeing Robert De Niro accept his lifetime achievement award put me at ease because, duh, of course he deserves it now. He's about clock 80 real real soon.

Congratulations to Brad Pitt, Laura Dern, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Peter Dinklage, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Now, it's time to check out the looks that caught my attention.

Sian Clifford in Zuhair Murad
LOVELOVELOVE
From the color to the texture. Her hair, makeup.
The earrings damn near matching the gold buttons.
Everything's on point.
Noah Schnapp in Balmain
I feel like Timothee has worn something similar.
Doesn't matter, though, because Noah looks quite stylish.
Great color!
Nicole Kidman in Michael Kors Collection
My word do I love navy blue as the new black on the red carpet.
This dress is so pretty. Love the ruffle slit and shoes.
Christina  Applegate in Monique Lhuillier
It's a shame she's blending into the black-white backdrop and grey carpet.
Because the dress has some interest.
Her makeup isn't the best, however.
Lupita Nyong'o in Louis Vuitton
I wished the bust area was silver.
Jennifer Lopez in Georges Hobeika
She looks regal.
Not a fan of the train sashes.
Zoe Kravitz in Oscar de la Renta
It's amazing how she can switch up her style so effortlessly.
This look is classy. A-list. Audrey Hepburn-lite.
Charlize Theron in Givenchy
For some odd reason, I like this look.
My only nitpick is the slit is a tad bit too high.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge in Armani Prive
She's trying to bring the sexy...and is almost pulling it off.
But the hair. That hair. Why?
Needed a bolder lip color.
Millie Bobby Brown in Louis Vuitton
Why they got her dressing like she's 40 years older, though?
Weird.
Jennifer Aniston in Christian Dior
Her overall style continues to bore me to tears.
Congratulations on your win, though!
I do want to watch The Morning Show but I don't want subscribe to Apple TV+.
Ah well.
Margot Robbie in Chanel
First off, Chanel did her wrong.
Secondly, Margot can do SO much better than this.
Finally, the hell with those random necklaces?!
Sarah Hyland in Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini
Oh, Sarah. Poor poor Sarah.
And it's such a pretty color and print, too.

And because this warmed my heart - and clearly he was inspired by his fellow British-Nigerian, John Boyega -

O.T. Fagbele in a traditional Agbada
