Plaid Modern Blazer

I'm always ecstatic whenever a new plus size offering pops up here in the DC area. In September, I hosted the opening and styling event for Loft Plus at Fairfax Corner in Virginia.

Throughout the years, I've associated Loft with stylish workwear for the on-the-go woman. I'm happy to report that the same aesthetic is being met for their plus size section. And quite a bit of the items are on trend for this Fall/Winter season like animal print, plaid, vintage floral, and shearling.

The Fairfax Corner has a sizeable section for plus size. I appreciated the cheeky yet informative signs to help navigate through the racks. I'm not much for trying on clothes but it had to be done because, hello!, I have to see how it'll fit my apple shape.

Faux Fur Lined Vest and Mosaic Tie Waist Shirtdress
Obsessed with this vest. Obsessed!
It amazes me when styles and trends come back in style rotation.
Didn't care much for the shirtdress because of the narrow cut. Even with stretch, it's a bit small. Sizing up is recommended.

Turtleneck Poncho Sweater

The sweater is perfect for work or a night out, paired with the right bottoms.
The bottoms we're wearing is the Faux Leather Wrap Skirt.

Chenille Blouson Open Cardigan and There is Beauty in Simplicity Tee
Casual and chic. Just the way I like it styled.
Unfortunately, the pants were my favorite.
The cut isn't setting my heart aflutter. I had to go up a size and it barely fit.
But love the window pane print.

Online shopping is always the way to go for me but it's nice to see when a brand, like Loft, recognizes that us plus size women also like to try on clothes in store. More should follow suit.
