As mentioned in the previous post, Catherines Plus Sizes opened a new store right here in the DC area. It's at the Ritchie Marketplace Station located in District Heights, MD.

I co-hosted the event with Joy and Dani. Not only were we fully decked out in Catherines but we also had the opportunity to share our favorite Fall picks, which was placed throughout the store. We mingled with customers, local influencers, and the Catherines staff while enjoying drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Finally, closed out the evening celebrating the birthdays of 2 staff members. Libra season in full effect!
When thinking about a store where the latest fashion trends are easily accessible, Catherines may not come to mind. Believe it or not, Catherines is very much aware of this, too. But here's the thing - even older women want to look fashionable! I say 'older', because that's Catherines target audience - older women. Which isn't a big deal and, truly, shouldn't stop you (and me!) from shopping at Catherines. Because once you look inside, or pore through their online store, you'll surprise yourself at how many items you'll be ready to purchase. I'd say start off with the Curvy Collection. Here are a few items that I have on my radar:
- Black Label Primrose Top
- Soft Melody Top
- Curvy Collection Ponte Pant
- Curvy Collection Luxe Lacing Top
- Curvy Collection Mirage Top
Enchanted Garden Cascade (I went up a size for a loose fit.)
Premium Stretch Skinny Jeans (Go down a size. Also, it's more straight leg than skinny.)
If you live in the DC area, find your way to the new Catherines store and be impressed with the layout, good lighting, and great staff. Besides clothing, you'll also find shoes, jewelry, intimates, and accessories. You can pretty much get a complete head to toe look at Catherines.
Oh, and tell 'em Vivi sent you.
