Yes, I visited Houston and Austin earlier this year. And, yes, I'm bringing you a brief recap of both trips more than 5 months later.

Houston trip comprised mostly of Super Bowl festivities like going to Super Bowl Live at Discovery Green to see Solange and watching Wale perform at a block party. But I did stop by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Unfortunately, the main building was closed on that day but thank goodness for the outside sculpture park.
Austin was a day trip. Walked around a bit before visiting The Contemporary Austin, Jones Center.
