The last destination took us to the desert that is Palm Springs, a 3+ hour drive from LA.
We stayed in this beautiful, colorful resort called Wesley Palm Springs. Brea did good with this selection.
Much like my thought process when picking out the perfect swimsuit for Cape Town, the same applied for Palm Springs. I knew the swimsuit had to be bright, fun, and most of all, colorful. Please welcome the Monif C Mesh Monokini in Tribal.
The coverup is a DIY. Originally, it was a maxi dress from Avenue via my local thrift store. The lining was soooo heavy, tho! Lovin' the crochet lace, I decided to rip out the inside lining. In my head, this dress was going to transform into a open front kimono-ish coverup. But while deep into the DIY process, I realized that instead of cutting right down the middle, I was cutting right down the side. It was only when I hit the sleeve area that I realized my mistake. whoops. So instead of ditching the project altogether, I snipped the other side, too. And viola.
