Aaahh. The main reason for the vacay has finally arrived - the wedding day!
As I mentioned in my previous post, the wedding weekend took place in a wine town called Stellenbosch. And the name of the wine lodge is Zorgvliet.
Despite threats of rain in the forecast, the day turned out to be absolutely gorgeous with comfortable temperatures and a nice breeze for an outdoor wedding.

After an emotional wedding ceremony, we were treated with a cocktail hour that came with all of the necessities plus a performance by a local South African vocal troupe. And during the reception, one of the entertainment segment was a show by a local flamethrowers group.
Given the location, I knew something bright, something vibrant to the wedding was a given. Also, I knew the style I wanted. You see, ever since I saw this page in InStyle's monthly segment of "The Look"...
...it became my mission to hunt down a dress in this pattern. Simply Be came through in the clutch.
