I don't know what the hell is being said but it's captivating. And it sounds intense. Like he's yearning for something...probably his father. With the whole 'papa, papa, papa' strewn all over the song. I gotta thank the lovely folks of PTX for making a cover of Papoutai and me being curious to hear the original. Which is always the case when PTX covers a song I'm not familiar with. Shocker alert: This is the first time I actually prefer the original to their cover. Not to say the PTX cover isn't good because that shit is hot fire. But there's something special about the original song. Also Stromae is adorable.
