I've been waiting for quite some time to debut this ASOS Curve Leather Skirt. I thought I had it going on when I purchased this item a month or two ago on sale. The original price was $157.41 and I bought mine for $75+. iWin, right? Unfortunately, that would be a 'no'. You see, about roughly two weeks later I made my usual online window shopping rounds and stopped at ASOS. Checked out the Curve page's Skirts section and I froze. The beautiful skirt, the exact same blue beautiful skirt that I own and I thought I got at a great deal was still on sale...and THIRTY DOLLARS CHEAPER. Excuse me while I sigh. The current price is now $47.22. That's right. $47.22. One more time for the folks in the back row - $47.22.

This past weekend, I went to my 2nd BLM Meetup (view recap of the 1st meetup here). And, once again, it was at Eatonville. It was great to catch up with blogger friends and meet new ones as well, like my fellow Naija sistah Val. The get together couldn't have come at a better time because I needed to get my mind off the fact that one side of my face was swollen from a recent tooth extraction. Great food, laughter and a tasty Bourbon Vanilla Ice Cream later, I was good.
