I was thisclose to not attending South Moon Under grand opening celebration of their new store in Mosaic District. Why?
Because I was too lazy to take the metro all the way to Fairfax, VA. I mean, it's a bit of a journey. Elle convinced me to go with her and brave the atrocious DC rush hour traffic to get there. Even getting there proved to be problematic because Mosaic District is so new that it wasn't coming up on nobody's GPS. But when there's a will, there's a way.
Also marking the event was Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere book signing. Cupcakes and Cashmere is a very, very popular blog and Elle is one of the blog's many, many devoted readers. She was excited to meet Emily.
