I received the Kreativ Blogger Award from Dazzled and Fabulous. iBlush. If you're reading this, thank you! :o)
I have to answer this small questionnaire and also add seven (7) random facts about myself. Since I love to answer fun questions, I'm all for this award. Let's begin, shall we.
Dress/Cardigan/Bag/Earrings: vintage, Shoes: Evans Tights: CVS, Watch: Michael Kors |
1. Name your favorite song Wanna Be Startin' Somethin, Michael Jackson
2. Name your favorite dessert Vanilla ice cream
3. What pisses you off? Folks that try way too hard to get attention by any means necessary. Folks that try their darnest to garner sympathy. Attention seekers.
4. When you're upset you...? Curse. A lot. But really, I listen to music. It puts me back in my happy place.
5. What is your favorite pet? None. I will say that an "awww!!!" escapes my lips whenever I come upon a cute, small, petite dog.
6. Black or White? This is one tricky ass question. LOLOL! Black. I mean, black clothing catches my eye way quicker than white. (nice save, I know.)
7. Your biggest fear? Death
8. Best feature? My smile
9. Everyday attitude? Grateful
10. What is perfection? The only perfection I know of is the Holy Trinity (God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit)
11. Guilty pleasure? True story, but I don't feel guilty about stuff that I love. It doesn't faze me if people give me a major side-eye because I like to listen to so-and-so music or watch some random TV show or do a weird hobby on the side. I will say that I miss watching the Disney Channel. I've slowed down quite a bit. Need to squeeze a few shows here and there.
Random Facts -
- I have a fear of flying. I mean, it has to be THE most smoothest ride of all time...OF ALL TIME!!!...in order for myself to remain calm. Any slight turbulence and it's downhill for me.
- I am pretty good at separating a person's talent from the person. For example: don't care much for Justin Timberlake, Beyonce or Trey Songz BUT I enjoy some of their music. In reverse roles, I still truly love and enjoy Chris Brown and R. Kelly's music despite their major personal issues. Come to find out that a lot of folks do not know how to separate the two.
- I do hair. I'm good at braids, cornrows and weave (except invisible part...I hate invisible part!...the other day, a friend asked if she can come in for invisible part...I was like I don't know how to make it and quite frankly I don't want to learn how to make it cause I don't like it...she said, but it'll make you more money, you gotta expand...and she's correct...I mean, it's always about the customer, right?
Not always. Right.) I do all of my hairstyles. Great way for me to save money. I mean, from time to time I get it professionally done just so my arms can rest. No one taught me how to create these styles. I'm just a visual learner - watching the hairstylist do their work and just picking up their techniques. - I am not a fan of spoken word and poetry. I guess I haven't found the right one that moves me.
- I have an addictive personality.
- I smile quite a bit in pictures. But there is a reason, though. I just don't look right when I'm not smiling. Also, for the life of me I can't smize (smiling with your eyes...thanks Tyra...I wonder how long before the folks at Oxford Dictionary add this word...I mean, 'lol' is in it so why not 'smize'?). Not a fan of my side profile, either.
- I'm a Libra. Fun facts about Libras: diplomatic and urbane, indecisive and changeable, romantic and charming, easy going and sociable, flirtatious and self-indulgent (EEEK! That is so not me...is it?) Also, and this is a HUGE also, Libras are the most attractive sign. Hey, don't shoot the messenger.
- I've been a fan of big/oversized/men's watches since middle school.
*I just completely ignored the number 7 and did 8 random facts instead. Because that's how I roll.
You can thank Uche of Style Enthusiast for these lovely pictures. Go ahead, thank her (this means, go and check out her page...duh.) Look ma, upgraded picture quality! Once I heard she was in town, in my head I was like, yo, I need to take pictures with her camera. Luckily, she was thinking the same thing. YAY!
Have a great and safe week...while looking fashionable!
