Before I begin I should note that there is no longer a DCFABB. The name has been changed to CapFABB. Same concept - to bring the DC area fashion and beauty bloggers together (sign up, DC area blogger!) - just a different name.

Anywho, yesterday I attended this month's meetup. It was at Nectar Skin Bar which is located in Georgetown. As soon as I stepped in, I immediately adored it. The decor is gorgeous. The place has this intimate feel that makes you aware that you will be taken care of. It offers plenty of spa services like tanning, waxing, oxygen facials, facial treatments, etc.

Also, Nectar Skin Bar has a sister spot that is a salon which is just one door down called IPSA for Hair.

Such a great event! Michelle, Laurie-Anne and I were a bit hungry. So afterwards we decided to indulge in some burgers and fries at Shake Shack in Dupont Circle. While there, we bumped into Michelle's pal Leon who has a really popular blog called Listen to Leon. Right from the jump, the man was cracking jokes and telling us off-the-wall stories. He's a trip. 

Today, I didn't even have to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day.
